Inter-Member Relations

• Promoting Industry Integrity: Members, whether individuals or companies, shall foster a spirit of collaboration and respect, avoiding disparagement of fellow members. Such behavior undermines the professionalism and reputation of the entire industry.
• Ethical Recruitment Practices: Members shall not solicit employees from other members for the purpose of acquiring trade secrets or securing competitive contracts.

Commitment to Compliance

• Adhere to Legal Standards: All members shall comply with applicable laws, intellectual property rights, regulations, and legislation in Lesotho.
• Conduct Business Ethically: Members shall engage in professional and ethical business practices, faithfully fulfilling all agreements and commitments.

Professional Representation

• Accurate Representation: Members shall provide truthful and accurate representations of their own and their employees’ or agents’ qualifications, experiences, and capabilities
• Encouragement of Responsible Solutions: Members shall take responsibility for assisting customers in identifying and implementing effective information technology solutions
• Rights to Trade: Members shall offer only goods or services for which they have the legal trading rights and ability to deliver.

Responsibilities to Employees and Affiliates

• Safe Working Conditions: Members shall provide safe, equitable, and supportive working conditions for their employees and associates.
• Professional Development: Members shall promote continuous learning and skill enhancement among employees, ensuring access to resources for professional growth.
• Confidentiality Training: Members shall emphasize the need for confidentiality regarding customer information and proprietary materials among all employees and associates.
• High Standards of Service: Members shall demand and uphold high standards of professional behavior and service excellence from all employees.
• Awareness of the Code: All members shall ensure that their employees and representatives are familiar with and understand this Code of Conduct.

Communication and Advertising

• Honesty in Communication: Members shall ensure that all advertising and publicity materials are clear, accurate, and devoid of misleading or ambiguous statements.
• Disclosure Obligations: Members shall fully disclose any personal or business interests that may affect the recommendations they provide to prospective customers.

Confidentiality

• Protecting Customer Information: All members shall treat all information pertaining to customers as confidential and shall establish appropriate measures to safeguard this information, including records, documents, and programs.
